Turia

I live in the greens in Turia Building, The same building as Nandos, The Greens is a charming and quiet residential area, excellent if you work nearby media or internet city and even better if you are a pet parent. By far one of the most pet-friendly residential areas in Dubai. There are plenty of lush green walkways and plenty of trees to shade them during the summer heat. The neighbours in my building are polite and helpful but mostly keep to themselves. I feel very lucky to live in such a nice area. The prices are a little high but I walk to work and to the gym so I have zero transport costs. This is also a very suitable area for families and children as there are schools and nurseries nearby and not to mention plenty of play areas in every building. Pet parents and child parents meet by the lakes and usually have play dates :)

We have just signed the contract for the third year living in this building. We are very happy here. The balconies on this building are huge, and it feels like our own little slice of Dubai. The amenities of this building are good quality and we have gotten a lot of use out of the pool, the gym and the playground for our little one. Over the past year we had some issues with noise as the restaurant in the bottom of the building was renovating, but other than that it is a great neighborhood. Walking distance to Choithrams and the restaurants in the Green Village.
