Negatives
Finishing in certain places inside the apartment
This apartment in Al Nahda 1 faces Ittihad Road and has an excellent view of even The Mamzar area. Inspite of being next to this main road, it is extremely quiet in here. The apartment is big sized measuring 1700sq. ft. .It possesses two ensuite bedrooms with a separate ensuite more… maid's room, a utility room and a huge balcony to boast of. The maintenance and security provided is good though the finishing of the apartment could have been looked at before the handover (we are the first occupants and came here in Feb 2012). At AED72K it is a good bargain in the area and we feel it is good value of money as well!Show less

The place is ideal who is looking for a flat with no much of disturbance, away from the main road, with ample parking and decent crowd. Supermarkets, groceries, saloons, bus stops, hotels and restaurants are all nearby.

Cannot think of any, I love the place
The first thing that I noticed about my apartment was the spacious Hall. I also love the layout of the building with its spacious corridors and clean and well-lit environment. It is a Bin Ham property and I must say that they have maintained the building very well. They have more… a well trained staff taking care of the daily maintenance. There is a 24 hour security staff so my wife and child feels absolutely safe even when I am away on business trips. Shops are available on the ground floor for goods for daily use. There is a RTA bus stand below the building while the Metro is a 10 min walk away or you can take the bus to the metro station. Lulu hypermarket is also 10 mins away while there quite a few good schools 10-15 min walk away. There are a couple of good restaurants too on the ground floor.Show less

I am living in this building for the past 6 years now, what attracted me to this was the area and all the things that were and are currently coming up in this area. AL Nahda 1 is the area where you are close to Metro, shopping, banks, and over more… all the airport. The building is managed now by FGP and they are doing a fantastic job in managing the daily working of the building, well secured, and maintained. I hope to continue to live in this building for long. Show less

Positives
Location, Facilities
Negatives
Traffic
The tower is located on Etihad road just before Sharjah and that's why the area has heavy traffic almost all day long. Facilities in the building include Gym, adults pool, kids pool, sauna, steam, and security. Next to building there are butchery shop, 2 supermarkets, Emirates NBD, pharmacy, laundry, and 2 more… cafes. Place is decent and we love this apartment which is luxuriously finished and view on Al Mamzar lake. We also have a single private parking. We are also very near to Sahara center, other shops and restaurants (mostly Indian) in Al Nahda. You will also find many nurseries in the area. The only problem we always face here is traffic and the biggest problem is people in Sharjah who park in Al Nahda 1 area to escape from morning traffic which make unnecessary traffic in our area.Show less

Nothing to say only the road leading to the flat has to be constructed
The Flat we are staying is the cheapest compared to all flats in the area. It is comprehensively very low and one of the best you can find in this area.We have 4 flats From Binjuma 1 to 4. It faces two roads and a very convenient spot as we more… live behind the Sahara center Dubai side. Walking distance to the mall and bus stop and taxi area and many restaurants and supermarkets. There is also a nursery and a bank nearby. Well maintained and the best security given. The flats are very spacious with a big hall and rooms. Masjid is just nearby its walking distance and such an added advantage. I would recommend this place to anyone and would never dream of leaving this place.Show less

Unfortunately swimming pool is cleaning not properly, because my children all time getting allergy after using the swimming pool. Location is good, there is a huge supermarket LULU more… nearby and a lot of small groceries around of the building. I didn't like the traffic gem in both directions Dubai-Sharjah. My upstairs neighbor
I chose to live in Al Nahda because of its close (well pretty much) proximity to DAFZA, where I work. Most of the buildings here are pretty old but I was lucky enough to score a place in a brand new building with quite an ostentatious name. But does it more… live up to its name? Read on to find out. Studio size - approx 700 sq feet, fairly big Bathroom - black and white tiles, bathtub, chrome finishing Kitchen - separate from the actual living area (good for cooking smelly food), washing machine, fridge and gas stove/electric oven built in Closet space - 4 substantially sized closets Windows - since my apartment is a corner apartment, two of my walls are floor to ceiling glass, bathing my place in bright sunlight every single day (which I love) Gas and Smoke alarms are actually working (sometimes a little too well) Dubai Star is a family oriented building with a couple of singles (like me) thrown here and there; there is also a substantial amount of cabin crew SFAs and Pursers living here so get used to the sound of rolling suitcases at 3am but it isn't a bother at all, except for my upstairs neighbor (also cabin crew) who apparently likes to scream whilst talking on Skype. But aside from that, I have no complaints. There was no formal circular sent out that banning pets but I do have a cat and I have seen a couple of other tenants walking their dogs so I can safely say that pets are allowed. The building itself is cleaned and maintained every day, and little hiccups like a pipe bursting or the gas alarm going off at even just a spray of perfume is easily remedied with just one phone call to the maintenance crew who work daily from 8 - 5 excluding weekends. It is a quiet building (well, my floor is thank goodness) and people here respect other people's privacy and well being. Security is 24 hours on the dot and are helpful and courteous. My only real peeves are: 1. For the location (Al Nahda, bordering Sharjah) I am paying premium. For this price I can easily get a 1 bedroom in the same area but I am paying for cleanliness and safety so guess I can live with that. 2. If you are working in the opposite end of Dubai (i.e. Marina, Jebel Ali, JLT, Downtown), expect to tack on an extra hour to your journey to and from the building. Not only that, expect some pretty horrendous traffic. All in all, I am quite happy with my place, and the building where I am at. I have made it into a home. Show less

I love the building as the maintenance is excellent. Today only a team of five people came to inspect each and every thing. My child's school is nearby, also was her nursery. Excellent restaurants and supermarkets are here with all the variety needed. The only back drop is the traffic more… on Ittihad Road. Rest, the swimming pool and the gym are fantastic. Also the security is pretty good. The area of the flat is huge along with a great balcony. We have a big kitchen and a master bedroom, plus 2 baths and 1 guest washroom. The Sharjah taffic
We've been living in the UAE for 24 years and truly this is the best apartment we have lived in so far. Excellent value for money and Cluttons, the management company is best in the business. It is well managed, spacious, airy and excellent value for money. The more… maintenance is 100%. Snags are taken care off sometimes within 5 minutes of logging a complaint. The building's owner Mr. Bahwan needs to be commended for arraigning Iftar everyday during the holy month of Ramadan and faithfully gives every tenant sweets for Eid and a cake for new year. This is a very thoughtful gesture. I have never been a happier tenant.Show less

Positives
View, balcony, big bedroom with attached bath and kids room.
Negatives
Increased rent,
The flat was spacious and had built-in wardrobes with plenty of storage. The balcony was long and provided a good view of the city including the terminal 3 airport runway, Sharjah corniche. Kitchen was open and a little too small. Laundry room was big enough to accommodate lot of stuff. more… There was good lighting through out the house. An entire wall of the the living room was glass which gave a beautiful view of the city. The master bedroom was very spacious with an adjoining room, an en suite bathroom and a little balcony. On windy days . Floor tiles are good. Bathroom utilities were of premium quality. Good Maintenance. Show less

Positives
Close to a shopping mall.
Negatives
Traffic conditions on peak times is extremely bad
Traffic is the worst part of my location. Ettihad road E11 in the morning and late afternoon is outrageous. Poor public transport it consists of public buses which anyways get stuck in traffic. The good aspect is close to Sahara center, a good shopping area "All available" and all what you need more… is available.Show less

Positives
Size of the apartment.
Negatives
Bad neighbors, occasional cockroach, walls are very thin (noisy), traffic noise in front of building, children screaming and playing in the hallway, leakages, mold, OVERPRICED for new tenants.
Pros: Apartment size is ok (2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms). Air conditioning is included. Cons: The neighbors are noisy, they let their children play in the hallway. The neighbors are mostly dirty people who leave their trash in the trash room rather than throwing it in the chute. They also smoke more… in the hallway. Walls are thin which results in noise. Traffic noise outside. Occasional cockroach. Kitchen is very small and dark. We have had beggars ringing the doorbell begging for money.Show less
