Marina Pinnacle

Hey, I have been staying in Marina Pinnacle for the last 2 years now. One of the friends told me that it's not a good building but I feel it's an amazing building. Specially Tower A, facing Marina side. I have stayed in many places within Marina and JBR for the last 10 years in Dubai but this place is best-suited location-wise. Cabs are just down the building, Tram is 5 min walk at a visual distance, Metro is 10 min walk. Some of the best beach clubs in Dubai - Barasti & Zero Gravity are within walking distance. Skydive is at walking distance. You come out of the building and there is your Marina walk. The building is surrounded by over 4 supermarkets and 4 pharmacies. There is a dry cleaning and saloons inside the building itself. There are 4 pools, a jacuzzi sauna, a big gym and all most everything you can imagine. The security of the building is pretty tight but i consider it as good. It should be tight to keep the unwanted elements under control. Rents are low too.

Foul smell in the corridors. Roaches infestations, no matter how many times I called exterminators, they come back. Security is aggressive and act like bouncers. I'm not even finishing my contract, that's how bad it is here.

The Review's might sound a little harsh but it is the truth. No Building with no advantages but this one has only 1 so will dish it out and move on to the real issues. 1- Location Location Location: Very close to tram which connects u to the Metro. Very close to Marina Walk and hence Marina Mall (15 mins brisk walk). And lastly, easy access to SZR With that out of the way, let me explain the hell bit 1- Noise: If u live in a lower floor u r doomed. Noise comes from the Tram, the inconsiderate drivers and their tooting, and the non-stop construction. 2- Neighbours: I dont understand what is wrong with Neighbours in Dubai. inconsiderate, unclean, dodgy ... the list is endless. What bugs me most is how they treat the garbage room. Garbage is either left on the floor attracting pests and what have u, or dropped down the chute but with chute door left open causing the entire floor to smell. 3- Foul Smell: There seems to be a garbage problem in Marina in General and Pinnacle tower has its share. A terrible smell comes out of the car park and sometimes it creeps up into the floor if the Chute is left open. dont you dare having the window open when entering or leaving the car park. 4- The Car Park: the tiniest Car Park ever. if u have an SUV u better be a good driver. one parking space regardless how many bedrooms the flat is. 5- Maintenance: Haven't had to get them to fix anything but the building itself is in bad shape. there is usually one lift out of service. mould building up around AC vents and the odd maintenance jobs they carry out like painting the stair case in the summer. 6- Security: a hit and mess. some are nice, others are awful. the building itself is not secure and attracts a lot of dodgy visitors. they have installed a new security system but still. 7- Traffic: Horrendous

The title says it all. I lived here for one year which was a constant nightmare. You will soon accept that cockroaches will be living with you no matter how often you call pest control companies to spray your flat. Maintenance is horrible, try getting a hold of them. Forget about having guests over, there are no parkings for visitors and you will be embarrassed once they give their views about any other building. Let's not mention the gym and the pool which is still not open.

Nothing positive to say & much better options elsewhere. Standout lowlights - Staff/maintenance - 5 Days without water for 2 minute fix. Calling on reception 2-3 per day. See photo of health club shower I used for these days and this is the better one... - Outside pool is closed with no update on re-opening - was terrible anyway - Indoor health club and pool is awful and very dirty and run down as with rest of building - Questionable inhabitants and if you have lived in Dubai long enough you will know what I mean by that - probably one of the few buildings where you must lock your door as had 'visitors' mistakenly come to my door at strange hours. Lots of better options in Marina

Good size apartment with good layout. The bedrooms and the kitchen are big and spacious with a lot of sunlight. Depending on which side of the building the apartment is you can have spectacular views of eater the palm, marina or golf course. 5 minutes walk to Barasti and Marina Walk. The finishes are very poor, things go broke all the time. The maintenance is slow to react, and most of the time just mask the problem instead of fixing it. The elevators for higher floors haven't been working for over a year which creates a lot of congestion and long waiting times. The corridors are always dirty and smell bad. Security is unhelpful, doesn't stop strangers (people from outside use the pool). All in all if you are good at fixing stuff yourself, don't use the facilities, and want an affordable apartment in Marina it can be a good place.

Marina Pinnacle is probably in the best location of the Marina, as it is close to everything you need. The traffic is never an issue around here driving unless the build up of traffic for the delayed signals (blame the tram). The Building itself is shabby however the last 2 months they have began to do work internally paint, clean etc, which is a nice touch. The lifts are a bit of a joke and seem to work in their own mind. My apartment is a good size and is good value for the price I pay, my view is of the marina however that will soon be blocked by a tower block getting built, has shot up very quickly in 8 months living there. Gym is awful (mens). Indoor pool I refuse to use. Outdoor pool is perfect for myself as I do laps and is a good size, however from December-Feb with the no heating it was baltic. Will be moving out when my tenancy is up but I have not hated my time there like others have mentioned. But all in all a good value for money building.

It was my first home in Dubai, with some initial difficulties which are now absolutely gone this building has proved to be a complete value for money. With almost everything accessible and door step service it makes life so much easier .

One of the dream locations to stay in Dubai. I am currently sharing my room with few other flatmates. Everything is nice. Only thing is I dont find budget restaurants around and hence compelled to cook my own food at times. Also, restaurants charge a lot for home delivery which is sometimes almost half of the bill value and hence not possible to order if I have to order only for myself. However, everything is worth for the view and the kind of people you see around. The best part is Marina Walk and JBR walk where you can spend lot of time to get relaxed after a long day at work.

Large apartments with big windows which is bright and light.... But a horrible building!! Maintenance very poor, mold in many of the corridors from leaking air conditioning units the overall standard of the building was very poor and unclean. Fixtures & fittings very poor quality, we experienced many leaks / breakages and very unhelpful and expensive building staff for repairs! Gym separate ladies and men's with minimal basic equipment not useful opening times. Indoor pool was not available for use the entire time we lived there and the outdoor pool was awful, with debris from the building site next door which was never cleaned! The only positive thing I can say about our time here was the security was very good, very few restaurant / advertising flyers! I do not recommend living here...

When I got married and came to Dubai, Dubai Marina seemed no less than Manhattan. Buzzing with energy. My building was my heaven amazing view gorgeous location on the Marina itself. I have been living here since 1 and a half years in a one bedroom and my husband since 3 years from his single days to now married and his fourth year in this building. Good location however the maintenance etc can improve but total value for money. The neighbourhood is what pleases me the most. Good location good size .

The location of Marina Pinnacle is great as there is really easy access to Sheikh Zayed road along with the metro, tram and a short walk to the beach. There are plenty of shops including Spinneys, many restaurants and Dubai Marina mall. The pool and gym are extremely well maintained. There is one downside, the construction around the building is non stop. In all, a good central location that is within reach of everything in the Marina.

Although the size of the flat is good, the maintenance of the building is something which at best is pathetic. Garbage rooms are always full. Extremely narrow parking and it can be a harrowing time in case you have a BIG car.

I live on the 41st floor and I have to say my view is amazing! The noise levels are so bad I can never sleep with the doors open or even watch tv with the doors open. There is a lot of construction in this area and when one lot finishes, they start with another. The maintenance on the building is really bad and it feels grubby and sticky. The residents refuse to put their garbage down the chute and as a result we have cockroaches. The ladies gym has very few machines and the kids break the ones that they do have. It feels so grubby that I don't know when they ever clean it. It is an amazing site and should really do a lot better!

The building is poorly maintained, horrible mold issue, trash left by tenants in the corridors and parking areas. Do not recommend this building. Careful for mold issues and other health issues associated with mold.

I moved to Dubai 6 weeks ago, and after one month of living in the hotel I found this amazing flat with everything that I dreamed of. Amazing big flat, open, light room with the best possible view of whole Dubai - from Burj Khalifa, through whole Dubai Marina Walk to sea view and palm island. Watching sunrises and sunsets from my bed is the best part of living here. I will never get tired of the view, it is calming and inspiring in the same time.. As I said, I moved to my dream place:) With the best roommate.

The Tiger Tower has more than 65 floors. I was living in 65 floor. The view is amazing, from my balcony I saw Palm Jumeirah Island. The location is perfect as you can reach JBR in a just 5 minutes with the new open beach and nice walking area with a variety of restaurants and cafes. It takes only 1 minute to reach the 65 floor by elevator. The flat was really huge with a big hall and kitchen. Gym was amazing and huge with a lot of sport facilities. There is sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Also the building has couple of swimming pools - including one outdoor and separate for children. The only issue that was annoying me it is the 24-7 construction works in that area. And even on the 65 floor you can still hear the noise unfortunately.

Living there in the third year of my contract. My landlord is nice. The building maintenance is terrible though. I have had severe mould problems since I moved in and it's steadily getting worse. However it is outside the apartment, so it's up to the building to maintain as opposed to my landlord, They keep painting over the mould and then it comes back within 2 to 3 weeks, as they don't fix the underlying problems. They have cleaned the outside windows twice since I moved in and the hallways often have leaks. The lifts are very badly maintained and, as I don't see the date checks that you see in other buildings for safety regulations, and they often break down. Why do I stay you may ask, On the plus side, it is a great location, my apartment is nice, with not great finishing's, but we've worked around it. The rent is reasonable. The gym is ok, but forget the outside pool, it's often covered in dust and no sun beds. The indoor pool is nice. Traffic is ok, once you get used to it. Within walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, and the metro and the tram. Considering moving this year.

The building itself from the inside looks old, the lobby is dark. There is mold everywhere, just a week ago they painted on top of the mold, AC is dripping in some areas. The elevators require some time to wait but they are all fully working, the staff is nice. But what is critical and the reason that I won't renew there most likely is the horrible smell of garbage in the hallways. The odor is absolutely revolting, and it makes me very embarrassed to my guests.

The location of the building is just perfect. Its 2 min walk to the marina walk and 5 mins drive to the beach and there are so many great restaurants near by. The traffic used to be bad a month back, but after the completion of the road and tram works its improved a bit but still not ideal. The parking facility is good and they have ample space. There are 3 swimming pools, one for ladies, one for men and one which is common. Both the ladies and men's pool are indoor and the common pool is outdoor. Now to the negatives. There is no guest parking. Even though the building is good, the maintenance isn't that great. The floors above 40 get moist up during the summer due to the humidity and the walls start sweating. The gym is below average and the swimming pool is decent but the water isn't changed as frequently as required. Overall a decent place to live.

Probably the worst maintained building in the Marina. Rubbish room and chute smells out the building on a bad day. Very badly planned kitchen area - very limited work surface. Swimming pool and health club dirty and badly maintained, Paint peeling off all over. Main entrance corridors are badly lit and dirty. Fire exits / stairs are filthy. No lifts or trolleys to help you get shopping or other goods to the apartment. Removal vehicles cannot go into the car park area so very tough to move in and out of with furniture.

I like living here. It's right across from Marina Walk with restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and the metro station near by. The building is quiet with friendly security staff. It is a pet friendly building (which is great as I have a small dog), but there is nowhere in the area suitable to dog walk. Marina Walk have banned dogs. But JLT marina is near by (if you have a car; 5 minute drive) and it has a dog friendly marina that provides a long walk and even dog bags to scoop the poop if needs be. Despite that Marina Walk having banned dogs, it is a wonderful place to go for a run or a walk or even a cycle, with Dubai rental bike stands (opposite Spiney's) @ 15 dirham's per half hour rental. The apartments in the Pinnacle Tower are relatively spacious. The building has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools and a basic gym (male and female). The rent cost however, is every high and the building management costs are extortionate. The interior of the elevators are always in need of a clean and a sweep. The reception decor is very basic. The air con in the corridors are always set too low, with no way to manually adjust them. However the corridors themselves are kept swept and clean. The refuse system is handy, with a garbage disposal shoot on every floor. The traffic when leaving the building in the morning (for me it's 7:30-8am in the direction of Sheikh Zayed Road) is fine and rarely problematic. The traffic coming home in the evening (5:30-6:30pm) is moderate, with an average of 5- 10 minutes of congestion coming up towards my building (this might improve, however, when the new Metro Station construction is finished in November). All in all, a good place to live...if you can afford it!

Our building is situated in a prime location with the Marina within walking distance. You can also walk to the Metro Station nearby are right next to a tram station. There is also A Spinneys and a Carrefour within walking distance.
