Sports City

Diamond is a well maintained building. I am living in a studio at the ground floor,with a swimming pool view. The studio has an interior staircase therefore the living room and kitchen is at the ground floor and bedroom at the first floor but there is designed as an open space. The downside is there's no balcony as the studio is at the ground floor. There are 2 swimming pools, a big one (not very deep though) and a smaller one for children. Barbecue area is available near the swimming pool. There are 2 levels for parking but the access is very narrow. There are 2 problems i faced with my tenancy here. 1. The chiller for the A/c is a fixed amount per month (350) so even if u don't use it so much u still have to pay it. Moreover the company that is dealing with this service is horrible. They didn't invoice me for 7 months and then they woke up and started to bother me. 2. There is a lot of noise from a nearby construction site. Also, the maintenance people are very noisy. As I live in the ground floor I constantly hear them screaming at one another. The company that is managing the building is very professional, and they take care of their tenants. Overall it's a nice property, very clean and well maintained but it lacks at some points.

I lived in Elite Residence 2 for the last 8 months, and all-in-all I am very satisfied with the building and my studio. The building is well maintained, the finishings are good, and the pool and gym area on the roof is nice and well equipped. The building has many parking levels, and usually even guests can use the spaces. Traffic is good in the area, except for cricket events when its impossible to get in and out. My studio is at the end of the building, facing the cricket stadium, with no buildings blocking the view. I believe all of the apartments come fully furnished, which I found convenient as I just moved to Dubai when rented the place. I had no problem with any appliance or furniture, but of course they are not luxurious or anything. My only problem is that are no supermarkets and restaurants in the area, so you have to drive to Motor City to get anything. Although its just a 3 minute drive, it would be nice to have at least a supermarket for the daily shopping.

Moved in a year ago, it was quiet and cool, the agent told us that no construction expected and nothing is happening with the empty lands around. 2 month later one of the constructions started. Every day 3-4am in the morning, no chance to sleep. Later another 2 construction started, now the noise is 24/7(!!) One of the buildings nearby has a mosque which is very close to the building. The walls quality is very poor, you can't hang a picture on it, the toilet seats broke after few weeks. The furnished apartments beds and couches are very uncomfortable... Parking is good, and I liked the pool. I do not recommend it especially with its prices nowadays.

I have been really happy in my apartment i have been living there for 4 years . Its best apartment i have seen when i started looking for 1. The rent is very affordable i don't see that i will move anytime soon as they have to really kick me out .I have a view over Ernie ells golf club and i can see the cricket stadium . With all apartment buildings there is a few people that just move in that makes live miserably for other tenants that has been there longer. but live goes on and get over it . I love my flat.

Ice hockey Tower my Apartment view is Best Fully Golf Course View and and located on 6th floor all the amenities are available in this building.

The Mediterranean building of Canal Residence West is a brand new, cozy building with the best design and best location in Sports City. Pool and Gym is not yet opened, but coming soon. Kind security and a nice mix of decent people from all parts of the world. Quiet area, only the construction sites around interfere the silence depending on your flats direction. Still clear sight to almost all directions, but with news building rising some views will be limited in the future. The Dubai Sports City maintenance team is not very professional and experienced, but the building quality and finishing is quite okay for this area of the world. Emicool is the District Cooling service provider, home services provider is du. Every flat has a basement parking, there are enough parking spaces outside for visitors. When they'll fill the canal with water and open up the promenade and shops it'll be a cozy place outside as well. But until then it's quite sparse. Only four minutes walking distance away there's Victory Heights with all the amenities, parks and the Ernie Els Golf Club. Perfect connection to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road without any traffic issues. Shopping in Motor City is three minutes away by car. Newly opened bus stop is four to five minutes walking distance away.

We lived in Elite residence 4 in 2013 with my husband, and we found it a good option for a reasonably priced 1 bedroom. The building was brand new at that time, it was well maintained, and the gym-pool area on the roof was large and well equipped. The apartment's layout was ideal for us, and we had an amazing golf course view from the balcony. Other Elite buildings have different views, but Elite 4 is right next to Victory Heights. I think Sports City will be a really nice area in the near future but it still needs development, most importantly a supermarket. There are many buildings under construction, which can make the area a bit noisy and dusty sometimes. But traffic is OK, as it takes about 3 minutes from the building to the Hessa street flyover on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid road. Could recommend to anyone, who wants a nice apartment for a good price, and doesn't mind driving everyday.

We lived here almost 2 years now with my husband and daughter. We choose Sports City for the price and closeness to old Emirates road. Traffic is really good usually, and we have parking under the house. However there is no guest parking, and that can be a problem on weekends. Our apartment has great layout, but you have to accept the open kitchen. The balcony is large enough, and it is much better now that the next door building is finally finished. When we moved in, we were expecting new shops and restaurants to open, but there is still nothing. Also there is no park or playground to go with kids.
