Most of these apartments are now getting old and need updating - especially the kitchens. Windows need to be cleaned more often and they always seem to be doing some type of building work which is annoying and ruins the atmosphere. Overall, nice community, nice to be able to go for walks, family orientated, good location and nice to have a shops close by.

It is a great area, very friendly community. It's quiet and green, plenty places to walk / run. In terms of area - I highly recommend it as a place to live. The only problem is that the places are quite small and quite a few years old now. Landlords are generally not investing in upgrading the properties, so most of them are in need of upgrade.

With beautiful view of the Greens canal this apartment has been ideal for our three member family. The plenty of opportunities for our little one to play safely, experience the natural environment and the creatures that thrive around it, socialize and grow healthily in combination with the amenities and support in the community make life comfortable and cozy diminishing the buzz of the fast pace of Dubai. Highly recommended for couples, young or not so young and families alike.

But Emaar really have to get their act together. Fire alarm goes off constantly, even in the middle of the night. Mould outside of the apartment which was simply painted over. Window cleaners have come twice in the past year. Family and expat community, generally lovely area. Bit overpriced now, we were paying 88,000 in 2013; landlord is asking for 110,000. Definitely not worth paying 110k for 1 bed.
