Excellent location at the end of JBR. Walking distance to the beach and JBR walk and beach. Cinema near by, kids playground and garden is just near. Safe community.

Amwaj – neighborhood rating: the surrounding area is probably the best in Dubai, having JBR Walk, Marina Walk and the newly built The Beach development. It is safe, lots of places for kids to play, pools, beach…However few things are problematic. Not the crowd, people walking around, we choose to live in the busy area, with lots of tourists and hotels. The problem is noise level that comes from cars and specially motorbikes late in the night. The JBR is (was?) the Show-off Heaven for fast cars and motorbikes. The level of noise those make, often late in the night, is not for the residential area! Police is aware of that, and they have to do something about it. The second very bad thing is lack of supermarkets. We, in the JBR, on podium level had Al Maya and Choitram’s. But all outlets are closing down!!! Choitram’s at Amwaj 1 has been closed down, and the rumor is that all the Al Maya’s will be closed too. That means that for us the closest supermarket is Waitrose in Marina Mall! Those shops were super-busy and I am sure it is not owners choice to close down. We, the residents, do not really know what is going on ... JBR, Amwaj building rating – The buildings are well maintained, well-guarded, all is well. However pets are officially not allowed, but there are dogs everywhere. Unfortunately, …saw quite a few times dogs poo and pee around, even in the elevator… Shame on owners, clean after your pets! On hot mornings the whole podium smells of dogs urine…and maintenance people keep on washing, it is not them, but… It would be nice if the pool is better maintained, but it is ok like this...
