South Ridge

Brand new 2BR apartment on a fairly low floor. Neighbourhood quite empty (back then). Finishings one of the best in town, kitchen is fully equipped. Gym was world class, however the swimming pool is not aligned for swimming.

This is a lovely place to live. Very peaceful with only the occasional sports car racing and revving around the nearby Business Bay roads. The facilities are of a high standard, with two good sized pools and a gym, squash courts, badminton courts. It also has a function room and business center available to residents. The external areas are well maintained and it has two Parks outside which have been earmarked to be developed into Kindergarden and Primary education facilities when the Downtown population requires them.

A really nice building in Downtown Dubai, it is not directly on the boulevard which makes it a bit more peaceful. Our apartment doesn't face Burj Khalifa but we still like the view towards Business Bay. The small grocery store under the building is very convenient, plus Souk Al Bahar and Dubai Mall is just a stones throw away in case we need anything more.

Its almost been an year in Dubai and Southridge for me. I looked around quite a few apartment complexes in downtown before settling in for Southridge. I must confess that I am very happy with the Emaar facility and would stay on this year as well. The area is very peaceful yet very close to all the action (Boulevard, Fountains, Souk Al Bahar and Dubai Mall). As my office is in Business Bay the location is almost perfect for me. The gym and sporting facilities are very well kept. Huge garden area in front of the buildings is really soothing. All in all a fab place.

We have lived here for 2 months now and absolutely love it. The location is perfect and the view AMAZING! We are in tower 5 and our terrace has a view on the right at the swimming pool and the front at the Burj Khalifa/Al Manzil district, which lights up beautifully at night. I love that the apt has a lot of daylight and high ceilings. The park in front is super, very childfriendly area, we live here with 15 month old boy who goes to the nursery just downstairs (Great nursery: Jumeirah International Nurseries - South Ridge Branch). There is a play area outside and inside. They gym is big and offers a wide selection of gym equipment.

Conveniently located by the Dubai Mall with a Spinney's supermarket at tower 1. Squash courts available for hire in tower 4. Many restaurants at walking distance along the Boulevard. The green space is fantastic out the front.

Great community, has the best location in Downtown in my opinion, with easy access to getting out of the downtown with out having to go through the boulevard traffic. There are few issues with maintenance contractors M-Plus not very responsive, it takes awhile to get them to come, they are expensive and the job might not get done properly in one visit.

South Ridge consists of 6 Towers, widely spaced apart, looking towards the Burj Khalifa and easy walking distance from Dubai Mall. Considerate, multi national families and professionals live at South Ridge and there is a good community feel. There is a lovely green area in front of the Towers where families gather in the evenings and residents walk their dogs. South Ridge is extremely well run and maintained. All the staff are professional, polite and friendly. We have a view of the Burj Khalifa and the fountains and daily think how lucky we are to live in the best spot in Dubai. Our only problem, the Landlord thinks giving us notice so he can raise the rent is acceptable.

Been living in Southridge for over 3 years now. Excellent location, amazing view and easy access to dubai mall and nearby places. The only issue is sometimes parking can be a hassle for the guests. Location wise it is great, airport is 10-15 mins drive
