Positives
A lot more like the old Dubai
Negatives
Al Quoz is generally frowned upon by western expats but it is a lovely area to live in. Most of the properties tend to be independent villas but the prices are very reasonable compared to some of the larger expat communities. Just over the bridge from Safa Park and easy more… access to both Al Khail and SZR. There are plenty of small shops and supermarkets or 10 minutes away from Park & Shop & Choithrams and several schools.Show less

Positives
Less rent, spacious, good maintenace good loaction in dubai
Negatives
Neighbourhood,
This place is for a no frills person at a surprising the lowest rents in Dubai or Sharjah. Proximity to Sheikh Zayed road and the Al khail road makes it easily reachable from any part of the city. With a plethora of options for schools, small cafetrerias and more… restaurants make it a perfect place for either a family or a bachelor .The only drawback is it is near the labour accomodation and no play areas for kids around.Show less

Positives
Walking possibilities and the pets I own.
Negatives
Neighbours and maintenance.
I live in between two graveyards with a cement factory or something like that nearby. All the houses around me are fairly small except for my house and the one next door. The Oasis mall is behind my house and in walking distance but you'll have to drive to get more… to a metro station. The view is alright. On one side you can see the city with the Burj Khalifa and on the other side you get a glimpse of the Burj Al Arab but next to me is a bad park and the graveyards I mentioned before. I don't have a gym or a pool or a massive garden or even a phone as a matter of fact and I don't know any of our neighbours but it's the house I live in and I love where I live.Show less
