Weston Court 1

Motor City is an amazing place to live. Family oriented, green, full of pets and very very nice community in general. In fact this was the only area I wanted to live but my studio location in the building itself causes me so much trouble. I am a resident in Westin Court II, unfortunately living on ground floor in a studio next to the garbage vent and above the garbage disposal room. The noise that can be heard when somebody throws their garbage from the 3rd floor and it bangs itself left and right and then smashes beneath is unbelievable. In addition to that the cleaning staff comes early to work and causes noise below in the room, moving the dumpsters and pushing them. Complaining to the management of the building gave some results but nothing can be done for the improvement of the sound as it seems that the wall facing the garbage vent is super thin. The wall with my neighbor on the side must be different as I never hear anything. Currently I am hoping for some understanding from the management and fixing of a mechanism on the door for the vent and vent itself to make it stop and slow down when closing. Very often there are water leakages but maintenance comes quick. Again, the place is beautiful, area is my preferred but maybe I am just unlucky with flat location. The rents are quite high but size of flats huge.

Motor city is nice place to live. Family and pets friendly. Not best equipped flats, with some problems but all in all ok.
