Positives
Quiet and modern neighborhood
Negatives
Poor public transport facilities
Been living here with the family for almost 8 months now. Best thing about Arjan is that the place is brand new with almost all the buildings not more than 2 years old. Quality of construction of the building is OK and the neighborhood is quite peaceful unless you tend to stay closer to the main road of Umm Suqeim. The locality has all the stores that you need for your grocery. However, there are some hard negatives of this place that needs worth mentioning. One of them is the availability of good public transport (in case you are not driving). Metro doesn't exist anywhere close to Arjan, the nearest you should go is Al Furjan or Al Barsha 1, which is very far. Taxi's run around a lot but on weekends, most of them are very busy to fetch you. Hence, the only reliable public transport remain are RTA Buses but they have their own times. The other negative are the availability of good restaurants. Not many of them around and most of the food packages come from Al Barsha 1, Karama etc.
